About DORTHA HISE

Ms. Hise began her career as a paralegal in the legal field and worked at a variety of law firms in varying specialties.  Upon working a grueling position at a firm in Las Vegas, she realized that she needed something more fulfilling than what her current profession had to offer. She wanted to do something rewarding and at the same time help show others to do the same.  Ms. Hise was introduced to Avon by her cousin in 2002.  After two years with Avon, Dortha wanted to share her knowledge with others.  She then advanced in leadership to unit leader status and became a certified beauty advisor in October 2004.  In May 2006, Dortha realized the unlimited earning opportunity and was able to leave her full-time job in the legal profession to pursue Avon whole heartedly.  Now, Dortha and her husband, Jason, mentor their team of over two hundred people, to help them realize their potential to do the same in their Avon businesses.  When she isn't working her Avon business, Dortha enjoys hiking and mountain bike riding with her husband around their Folsom, CA home.
